Wheels @ Wollondilly 2014
What a wonderful day for the inaugural Wheels at Wollondilly! The weather was a perfect autumn day, sun shining with a comfortable temp of 25 degrees. The Bosskraft team arrived at 7.30am to meet Car show enthusiasts already at the show with their cars gleaming in the morning sunshine.
The cars continued to roll in until 10am when we hit entry number 202! We also had the Police Panamera (thank you to Harbourside LAC and Seargent Scott MacGee) and four vintage Police cars and a bike (thank you to Tony Fitzgerald, New South Wales Historic Police Vehicles), a Vintage Fire engine (thank you to Bill and Cindy Morris) and the Picton Fire Station (thank you to the NSW Fire Service and Captain William Morris and the team in attendance). This took the total to 210 vehicles.
A big thank you to the volunteers on the day that helped with all the jobs from gate takings, parking show cars to cooking and serving the food. Days like this cannot go head without this wonderful support.

Wheels at Wollondilly
Wollondilly Anglican P & F hospitality volunteers
Our hospitality volunteers working hard to feed the masses. Thank you to Xtrata that also operated the BBQ, including suppling the meat, bread rolls, BBQ and staff for the day. I believe everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. The food was all very reasonably priced with Sausage sandwiches costing $2.50, steak sandwiches/chips/hot dogs all just $3.00 and all drinks just $2.00.
The Police Display
We also had the Police Panamera- thank you to Harbourside LAC and Seargent Scott MacGee for attending and allowing the public to see a vehicle that not many would normally have the opportunity to view, especially considering it is one of a kind and the only one in Australia.
Thank you to Tony Fitzgerald from the New South Wales Historic Police Vehicles for providing four vintage police cars and one bike for the show. They were a huge success and the crowds loved sitting on the bike or in the back of the paddy wagon to snap some photos of their friends and family members. Tony and his team also donned the vintage uniform that was period to the vehicles they each drove to the show.

Classic Restos
A big thank you to Fletch for attending Wheels at Wollondilly. Fletch arrived early to start filming an upcoming episode of Classic Restos which will air on TVS in Australia and on USA television channels later this year. Thank you to all that stopped by and said "Hi" and those of you that took the time to be interviewed with your vehicle. Fletch was very impressed with the number of quality vehicles on display and is looking forward to attending next year.
NSW Fire Brigade and Vintage Fire Truck
Thank you to Bill and Cindy Morris who came in their Vintage Fire truck and allowed the kids and adults sit on the back and take photos. Also a big thank you to Captain William Morris from Picton Fire Station and the crew who attended and delighted the crowds with their display. Also the NSW Fire Service for the provision of the truck on the day.
Rocker Cover Races
The Rocker Cover racers where a great success with a huge number of entrants all vying to win the title of fastest Rocker Cover Racer. Much fun was had by all, including the entrants and spectators! I beleive there was quiet a bit of talk about many of this years rocker covers being prototypes for next years competition. With new and improved versions to be built and tested prior to 2015. The races where free to enter, so get building and enter the 2015 race.
