We've embarked on a RHD conversion on this '66 A code coupe for a customer. He's doing a lot of the work on the car himself, but chose to have us complete this aspect for him, before he progresses on the paint and prep stages himself. We're using an Australian integral power steering box, idler arm and a non power steering drag link from a Mustang for the job and after cutting and welding the drag link using another piece of Mustang drag link, the geometry has worked out perfectly on this car, with no bump steer. Few know that Mustang's actually had bump steer from factory! We actually had our own drag link forged from an example that we produced, so that this car has proper geometry.
The car was converted and returned to the customer so that he could continue with the restoration himself.
