Check out the '69 Boss 302 that we restored a few years back. Car came out of Michigan, up in the snow belt, where the roads were salted and it was sufficiently rusted from it's life as a daily driver up there from new. The pics of the car on the trailer in the snow, were supplied to us by the previous owner and I thought they were pretty neat (along with the trailer missing a wheel!). This Boss required extensive structural and panel work, but we bashed through the job and got it back together. When completed, it won Gold in the original class at the Mustang Owners Club of Australia (NSW) State Concours. It was also used by Dupont Performance Coatings, as a display vehicle for their finishes at the World Skills event in Sydney, 2008. We were pretty happy with that, considering where it started it's restoration journey!

While not entirely original, with white shock absorbers and side exit pipes, for example, this Boss 302 still won gold. It is a beautiful, nut and bolt, rotisserie restored Boss 302, that was built to be driven and enjoyed. It runs strong and tracks well, with every mechanical item in the car being rebuilt back to stock. We did opt for a more modified camshaft, giving this Boss a seriously tough note from the '65 Shelby style exhaust system. We love building concours cars, or concours quality cars if you aren't into 'concours', that are built to drive and enjoy. In this case, it's like having a brand new '69 Boss 302.
