Here, we'll start on the restoration of a genuine '67 Shelby GT350. It's had a hard life, but as usual, will come up beaut when done. We'll keep adding to these pics as we move through the job.
This is what we started with - a very tired ol' shell and a number of pallets of parts. It can only improve from this stage!

The car was stripped, media blasted and floor work done, the quarters stripped off of it, roof and drip rails removed, including tail light panel and blasted again, before being primed. Now it's time to start fitting up quarters, roof and tail light panel, before doing a complete panel fitup to ensure everything is aligned and then to paint prep stages. It has already been installed on our Mustang specific jig, to ensure that the body is square in all regards. The pics below show the car in red oxide primer, after its final media blast.
Below, the GT350 starts to take shape, with quarters, roof skin, doors and the fibreglass being fitted up.
The GT350 was media blasted now that the panels are all fitted up, then epoxy primed and polyestered. The shell and panels were then rubbed until laser straight, and then hi-fill primed in the black primer below. It's now ready for it's final rub and final colour applied - black! Should look tough with the white side stripes. No Le Mans stripes are being applied to this car, as should be the case with most '67 Shelby's, so it should look awesome.
